Adam   Adam McGovern
Indie Ink's Editorial Director lives in a deconsecrated camp meeting village on a wooded hill in the midst of industrial New Jersey. He's worked as a corporate copywriter, nonprofit administrator, music publicist, political appointee and arts critic; so far his employers still think these are all different people. Adam copyedited the leading comics reference work The Superhero Book and has written for pop-culture publications from The Jack Kirby Collector to The Village Voice. He once spent 20 weeks writing a web column about renegade Teletubbies websites and the corporate attempts to crush them. That, and the fact that his dad investigated UFOs for the government in the 1950s, may be all you really need to know.

Paolo   Paolo Leandri
Indie Ink's Artistic Director lives in Citta' di Castello in the region of Umbria, "The Green Heart of Italy." A technical illustrator in an agricultural equipment factory, he hits his home drawing board ready for spaceships and the spirit world. His influences include the moody gloom of Gene Colan, the adrenalized gleam of Jack Kirby, the sinister theatrics of '60s Italian horror movies and the brittle glitz of '70s new-wave pop. The results include the intergalactic transvestites, extreme super-athletes and robot pugilists he's created for magazines like Skate, Wrestling and Fumo di China in his native land. Paolo designs, pencils, inks, colors, letters, paints, and makes his writers wonder why they never made something of themselves. On weekends he's available for exorcisms and interdimensional daytrips.
